A report dated 29 January 2026 on Quảng Ninh's business portal says Bình Liêu Trading and Services Joint Stock Company in Lục Hồn Commune uses a semi-automatic production line and sheet-forming/drying technology instead of traditional sun-drying. This describes the named company, not every noodle-making household in Bình Liêu.
The interest lies in how a speciality adapts to modern production. New techniques reduce reliance on weather, while the raw-material and craft stories still need separate attention. Whether noodles are mechanically dried or sun-dried cannot alone establish a package's provenance.
A seasonal harvest does not mean noodles are only made seasonally
Quảng Ninh Portal's article of 5 September 2026 explains that seasonal canna-root harvesting once made continuous processing difficult. Improved starch storage helped the company produce throughout the year. This concerns raw-material storage, not a claim that all finished noodle packets have the same shelf life.
The source also records the company's noodles achieving national five-star OCOP status in 2025 and exports to Japan in March 2026. These milestones belong to the product and company named in the report, not every packet labelled “Bình Liêu glass noodles”.

Check the producer, ingredients, weight, manufacture date, expiry date and storage instructions. If a seller mentions OCOP status, ask which company's product holds it rather than relying on the locality's name. Do not infer ingredients or quality solely from noodle colour in a photograph.
